Cancer Prevention and Control
Cancer Prevention and Control leads several federally-funded programs designed to translate research findings into education programs and training for healthcare providers and the public. CPC has four primary program areas— Bonnie's Bus - Mobile Mammography Program, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program, Appalachia Community Cancer Network (ACCN), and the Mountains of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition.
Collectively, these programs make it easier for patients to access the care they need close to home and easier for everyone, young and old, to understand how to reduce their risk of cancer.
