James H. Chamberlain
James (Jim) H. Chamberlain is the former chairman, president and CEO of BioSource International in Carmarillo, California. He served as president and CEO of BioSource International and its predecessor, BioSource Industries, Inc., since it was founded in October 1989, and was elected Chairman of the Board in November 1993. Prior to his employment with BioSource, Mr. Chamberlain was the Business Development Director for Amgen, Inc., and held various executive positions with Browning Ferris Industries and Amersham Corporation, a biomedical company.
A WVU graduate, Mr. Chamberlain earned a BA in Biology in 1969. He also received an associate's degree from Beckley College in 1967, was a National Institutes of Health Fellow in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh from 1971-72, and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1984.
Mr. Chamberlain and his wife Joni have been loyal friends of the MBRCC for many years. He actively serves on the Visiting Committee and Capital Campaign subcommittee offering his advice and counsel to advance the mission of the Cancer Center. Mr. Chamberlain's service to the MBRCC also includes his role as past Chair of the Visiting Committee. Mr. Chamberlain is also a member of the WVU Foundation Board of Directors.
