Financial Considerations

The Bus serves women who have private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare, and uninsured women who are participants in the WV Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening program. With funding from grants and donations, mammograms are provided for women without coverage, so that no woman over the age of 40 is ever turned away; age 40 is the recommended age for screening mammography services.
 We work closely with the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (WV BCCSP) to ensure that all women who qualify receive services through the program.
