Soup for the Soul
Fund established for Soup for the Soul Program
The Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center (MBRCC) has always had the good fortune of tremendous philanthropic support. Through philanthropy, the Center is better able to provide optimal care to the patients we serve from West Virginia and the surrounding region. In honor of Ron Meredith, the Meredith family established a fund enabling MBRCC to provide free lunches to patients while they are undergoing treatment in our infusion center.
This program, "Soup for the Soul Fund," was started by the Meredith Family to pay forward the generosity of others who did the same for Ron and in recognition of the comfort provided to him and his family by the simple distribution of a meal. By providing lunch during infusion, we hope to provide our patients at MBRCC nourishment and comfort as they receive chemotherapy and infusions to treat their cancer.
