"Transforming the Health of West Virginians"

The primary focus of the WVCTSI's is to address the transcending health issues that affect the people of West Virginia/Appalachia These focus areas include: child health in rural Appalachia; socio-economic disparities & rural health; and human behavior & disease prevention specific to Appalachia. In order to transform the health and health care of West Virginians/Appalachians, a host of partnerships have been forged throughout the state in order to make radical changes in the health of our constituents. These partnerships range from state government agencies to community based organizations.
