WVU Cancer Institute Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center

The Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center is the flagship institution of the WVU Cancer Institute and the hub of all WVU Medicine cancer care in Morgantown, West Virginia. Offering the full spectrum of cancer expertise from prevention to survivorship, specialists at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center provide the most advanced cancer care in the state of West Virginia.

Named the top cancer treatment center in West Virginia by US News & World Report, the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center is nationally recognized and accredited for exceptional patient care by several organizations, including the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, and the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy.

The Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center is named after Mary Katherine Babb, a native of Keyser, West Virginia, born in 1905, who was married to US Senator Jennings Randolph (D-WV). Mary Babb Randolph left a legacy of philanthropy helping children with disabilities and those from low-income families. She died in 1981 from colon cancer. Her compassionate efforts and generosity toward helping others continues through the committed care at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
