WVU Medicine Invites Community to "Dinner with a Doc" Spine Health Education Event
WVU Medicine will host its upcoming Dinner with a Doc community education program on Tuesday, October 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
The complimentary event, titled "Back in Motion: Protecting Your Spine and Staying Active," will provide attendees with valuable information on spine health, including injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and advanced treatment options available for back and neck conditions.
Community members will have the opportunity to hear directly from a panel of WVU Medicine specialists:
- John Caruso, MD, Neurosurgeon
- Sandip Savaliya, MD, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist
- Moizz Syed, DO, Neurosurgeon
"Back pain and spinal conditions can significantly impact quality of life and the ability to stay active," said Mark Wells, DNP, PMGT-BC, Administrator of the WVU Medicine Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. "This event gives community members the chance to learn from experienced specialists, ask questions, and better understand the treatment options available to help them maintain mobility and overall wellness."
